90 eh? I would look underneath the car for any rust. Why? Because that might give you an idea of how many years the car was garaged.... Once you do that, if you find any, you might have a leak in your exhaust system...

Some of the imports started putting a flex-pipe in. It has a solid pipe coming in and a solid pipe going out....it looks like a steel chinese finger-trap... (you'll know what I mean if you have one)

These things are notorious for wearing out due to engine shifting....which your engine will shift on the mounts when you rev it, stick it in drive, etc... So check that and get back to us.

so what you're saying doesn't make sense. even if it doesn't have a wastegate, in your case, a fake wastegate. all that just means is that my turbo will just keep on building boost until it spins so fast and explode.

how does that relate to the poping noise?
