I'm typing on a laptop and my fat fingers can't handle these small buttons or the ultra-sensitive touch pad 🙁

Anyway...snuck out under $600 so I'm pretty happy (My original planned budget was $400 but I was gonna either leave out the sub/amp or keep the stock head unit and get most of it used)

I have a JVC deck and I think it rocks.
they make nice car audio for sure.
I have the KD-SH909 mp3 unit...
 
Some nice stuff you got there, although I would of chosen a different sub. The CDT's are suppose to be very nice componets and I heard great things about the JVC mp3 decks.. a friend of mine has a US acoustics amp and they are good quality 🙂

Have you looking into Image Dyanmics for subs? an IDQ 12 would go very nice with that system. An adire aduo shiva would also fit the bill.

I put quite a bit of money into my car stereo in the past, took it all out when I got rid of my car.. but I got a new car the other day and I might start putting a system back in it. I have an Eclipse 8812 sub, a Memphis CA-150 component amp and DEI Studio 3065 components.. so I am thinking about adding a new deck (because I dont like my old one) and I need a new amp for my sub since I blew my old one 🙁 -- thinking about maybe getting a JBL 1200.1 amp to run the sub, but thats not written in stone yet. I already have 4 guage rockford power and ground, and two nice sets of stinger RCA's.. I will probably get new distribution blocks and new speaker wire.

Well, I kinda skimped on the sub because i was planning to forego the sub altogether just beause people say subs don't do much for a convertible...Also, a Shiva wouldn't fit in my tiny car...
