I've seen that, before. Sometimes, the logic gets inverted. Reboot. :)

No

I write with Caps Lock on right now, and when I need a capital letter like 'I', I press shift.

Yeah I am going to reboot.

I am just asking, anyone had this problem before..weird

Check you keyboard settings in the Control Panel..

Some people like to screw with the settings to annoy people. A popular one at my school it changing a standard keyboard to Devorak setting.. LOL

We've gone as far as to pull each key off, and replace them in alphabetical order..

NOOO! Don't reboot, because when it goes back to normal it will suck your house inside out, or maybe the whole planet, or maybe even everything! Just don't do it.

When Geeks Go Bad II, order now!

my keyboard and mouse are screwy too every once in a while it gets so that whenever i click on a link, it opens it in a new window. and wherever i click, it selects the text before it. i have to hit the shift keys a bunch of times to get rid of that problem.

yeah its fixed now, I just had to reboot the computer. No I do not have a cat, since I have a dog.

What Goldboyd said: I've had my "Shift" key "locked"/stuck on several occasions. And what always happens is, when I press the "Cap Lock", letters are in lower case; and when I release the Cap Lock, every letter is in upper case. Everything changes back to normal when I manage to release the Shift key.

Ok, just thought if your cat/dog had puked in your keyboard without you noticed it. My cat did, that keyboard went pritty bad after that!
