My Father is Cantonese and my mother is Mandarin (sorta) but they both spoke Cantonese to me as I was growing up.

I know more Cantonese than Mandarin but I think that my tongue likes Mandarin better. Everytime I speak Cantonese I sound terrible but, if you ask me to say something in Mandarin I think it sounds pretty decent.

I'm an ABC so I can't say much and don't have conversations with women who speak Cantonese well.
