My burnt duron core and heatsink pics.

I think the thermal grease was running out on the cpu core and it started to get too hot. The core has alittle burnt make on the top left end of core.

No the cpu works just fine. When i change the cpu today for my new 1700+ i will try to get a pic of the duron core. $50 is alot if one doesn't have a job and is a teen.

(Oh that 1st pic is from another site on the same host with the same file name as the one i just uploaded (crazy me) so its not the hsf but actually a ISA CARD from my old HW)

It's a lot of money to me. Webcams do suck, but when that's all you have... you make do. I'm broke too, and I'm 20 years old with a job.

Btw now im on my new ......not even 1 day old athlon 1700+ @ 2400+ from 1.46 to 2ghz speeds for you non amd PR ppl! Ya the duron core did get hot and the reason was because the thermal grease was like all gone on the core :/
