I'm not in high school. And while $20 isn't goint to put me on easy street, I don't see why someone wouldn't eat some Altoids or whatever and drink some carbonated water. Oh well *shurgs*

I thought the Mentos thing worked because the gum/gelatin in the candy messed up the surface tension that keeps the bubbles in check, doesn't oil normally have the opposite effect, ie when you add it to water it prevents boilover?
