tell me if something is wrong with this,

firstly he doesn't have a car in the first place.

he puts down 2K for a comp. doesn't seem all that interested in a car either.

but he keeps saying a car will solve everything once he gets one.

something isn't right?
 
If he doesn't have a car that should definitely be his number one priority. Do you live in the city where a car is not necessary? I bet he still lives with mamma and daddy too huh?

I don't know if nerd is the right word, I think addicted would be the right one.

He got a Pentium D with 2 gigs of DDR2 and and killed about 3 power supplies because he wouldn't listen to me that a more expensive PSU would be ideal for some new Intel rigs. I even tried convincing him that an X2 of the same price would compute more if he wanted to encode and play games. But he was like... "DDR2, Pentium dual core, 7800, blah blah blah... PSU for 40 bucks!"

He killed my older sisters car because he wanted my immature senior sister to have her dumb boyfriend do an oil change on it. The car ran out of oil eventually and the engine blew. I was like... OMG

Until I know that he needed a car, I see no problem. Say if he lives near the city, I don't see a problem. I know I'd spend money on a G5 once I get out of the house because I'll be in the city for my profession. If not I'll live nearby where mass transportation will be needed.

Wait..no sorry, already have a car.

No dude, it's a suburb 30 minutes west of Minneapolis, northbound however. I encouraged him to remember the time when he was serving in the Navy and to use those memories of dicipline and hard work to get back up on his feet once he was released from the armed forces. He's like.. well, Target does a good job of providing me with the security the Navy did. I'm like... what the hell are you talking about?

My parents are getting a divorce, and I keep telling him to stop getting comfortable in this hell-forsaken suburb because pretty soon everything is going to come crashing down if he keepz sitting around waiting like a mommy's boy. I'm younger than he is, and he thinks that Dawn of War is more important than me letting him know that his dad still doesn't give a f~ck about him.

I could have bought a car already.
I can buy one anytime.
I'll just wait until mommy or daddy buys my sister a new vehicle.
I guess it was wrong to rely on somebody so immature.
I currently own a 1999 Toyota Camry bought by my mom for $5,000.00.
Its officially mine right now but unofficially being borrowed by my sister until she gets ride of her own.
Hmm with 100.00 going into 2 powersupplies, I could have gone amd but i wonder if the amdx2 combined with the 7800gt wouldve fried the case stock psu and the 500watt generic psu?

But for the most part,
I should have bought myself a laptop.
its all about portability.
it would have costed me 2500.00 with an amd x2 and a geforce 7800gtxgoforce.

but overall my rig costed me 1500.00
intel pentium d 250.00
case 60.00
psu 2 60.00
gigabyte motherboard 120.00
ram 180.00
160gb sata 80.00
250maxtor16 100.00
rosewill19inch no dead pixels at all 270.00
xfx 7800gt 300.00

Learn to overclock... you could have an X-2 and 7800 SLI rig for $1500.
