my brooks brothers shirts came in today

It's hard to believe they can charge $90 for a shirt made in China and Thailand, and people still by them.

Does it have quality fabric? Do they stand by their products?

I own about 20 of their non-iron, about 5 golden fleece. I've worn through a couple and if it's an odd wear (seams) they'll return them. Had a coworker that wore through the collar, they gave him a new one. I had a tie that had stitching that came undone, they fixed it and gave me a new one.

When it comes down to it, they still have great stuff for a decent price. The fact you never have to iron them or get them dry cleaned is worth a lot.

You can find similar or better quality non-iron shirts for half the price.

I'm just saying, you are paying for the BB name and reputation. I used to buy BB stuff when they still only manufactured in the US. Now that they have gone overseas with most of their manufacturing, I would expect pricing to drop, but it has not.

Holy crap, they have 15.5x36... I have never seen those in any stores (including brooks brothers stores).

Isn't that a standard size?

Psh.. that's not that expensive. Come back once you've wasted over $150 on a striped shirt.

get your shit tailored...then you'll be a total baller.

medium balling. i was going to order some british ones like harvey & hudson and get it altered to fit, but they only come with gay british-favored french-cuffs and these fit surprisingly so well

First off, I'd never pay the full retail, only the semi-annual price. Second, there are few shirts you can find at the same price that hold the non-iron for as long and as well.

I'm a noob to dresswear. Only recently bought two more shirts since I only had 2 I liked wearing regularly.

All in all, it doesn't matter how nice a shirt is in terms of material, or price/brand. If it doesn'y fit well, it looks and feels like shit.

Brooks Brothers is one of my favorite stores. For graduation I got a dress, suit skirt, and two dress shirts from there- very snazzy!

I like to do my shopping at S&K mens wear since I'm so tall and slim, it's damned near impossible to find dress shirts that fit in a regular store. 16-37s ain't too common.
