You sound like a bit of a puss too...why don't you kick his ass or something for STEALING your money??? At least out of principle.

It's easy for you to say he's my older bro of course he can take me 16 < 22. I am not a puss I dont want to have to start any fight by doing this he sleeps in my room if we hate each other it's not going to work out.

Yeah, how's him robbing you blind working out for you???

Kick his ass. Use a bat if necessary. Does he have a car?
"Where's my money man?"

so you would rather be a puss and let him steal from you? my goodness man grow a set!

1)get the money out of there and into a savings account.
2) notify parents etc
3)get him drunk and kick his ass. if you can't get him drunk still kick his ass. if you fail at least he should have some respect for you. lord knows he does not now.

Whoa, you are a big fan of run-on sentences. I realize this is a public forum, but orginized thoughts expressed in sentences would be great. Read this link FTW!

As for your situation, don't leave money where he can find it. If he doesn't pay you back what he has already stolen, take something of his and sell it. I guess you could just take it as a loss and hide your money from now on.

My little brother did the same thing to me and to my mother a few years back.
I landed a few punches, he was crying like a little pussy, and my mom pulled me off of him. (Note: He was 18 at the time, I was 23 at the time. This was after he got expelled from 2 schools for drugs, and when he dropped out of the third and final high school he could have attended.) This was about 2 years ago. That day I decided I could no longer tolerate being in the same building as he was, and my mom refused to kick him to the curb. At the time I was staying at home to help take care of my mother, as she has very low income. I payed half of the rent and all the grocery bills, as well as replaced or paid to fix anything that broke (frige, washer, dishwasher, vacuum, TV, etc) ... it helped her out a LOT financially. I wouldn't take it anymore, as any time I was home I was just mad at my brother. I wanted to kill him. Rather then a stay at one of the friendly maximum security prisons, I decided to move out. Since then, he gave the combo to the shed at my moms house where I stored my bike to some gangbangers, and my bike was stolen. (nothing too special, but it was still a decent bike, a $300 gary fisher that I was storing in the shed for the winter as the townhouse I bought has no garage, basement, or shed)

I don't talk to my brother any more. I don't care if he dies. It may be "cold" or "mean", but it's true.

I hope your situation NEVER gets anywhere close to as bad as what my mother or I endured. People can have their fun, they can be stupid from time to time, they can casually use whatever drugs they want. But stealing like that is just completely abhorent and intorelable.

Tell your folks he's stealing from you, perhaps they'll kick has ass out and he'll learn a life lesson.

Honestly, it's up to what your father wants to do about it. If you can't physically force him to repay you, and your father won't force him, the only reasonable option you would have left is legal action in some kind of a small claims court (if your state has that), and I don't think you can bring action against him without parental consent, since you're a minor.

Ahh, I didn't realize that he had 6+ years on you. My apologies.

Seriously, why isn't your money in a bank account? Have you brought this up to your parents.

Here's the deal: You're not going to see your money again. He's older then you and feels like he can take advantage of you. Either lock your money up (BANK) or bring your parents into it.

Excellent advice, except on point 3. Getting someone drunk so you can kick their ass is an extremely slimy thing to do. If you're going to fight someone, fight them fairly. Don't be a little bitch about it.

Anyway, assuming they're responsible adults, your parents probably aren't going to cut him a lot of slack. With the unemployment and drinking I'm surprised he's still living there. Probably wouldn't take a lot to get him kicked out.

Also, try not to lend money to people if you can't afford it. Always assume you're going to get ripped off. I lend money to my friends, but I think of it as a gift. Payback is just a nice bonus.

He is a f0cking tool.

If my bro stole £££ from me I'd be SO pissed out of principle. HIM stealing my £££?! F0cker!

I lent my bro £1k a few times and he paid up. Not suprising though as we trust each other
