I was like that with my 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade teacher, however I was hated by most of the kids by fourth grade (when they finally were old enough to know what envy was). I remember my first grade teacher brought in this book "The Chirpless Cricket or something" and at teh end of the book it made a chirping noise. She gave that to me as a birthday present after she was done with the book. Everybody was in shock.
