It may have created/loaded a blank profile. Kill all firefox processes and restart it.

Check in \Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Firefox\Profiles\default\[random]\ for your bookmarks.html.

Or...

Run to the firefox profile. Look for a bookmarks-1.xxx and rename it to bookmarks.xxx that will fix it.

nope its hosed.. there is only one bookmark.html and im running only one instance of firefox, not multiple profile thinge.
