My blinds are stuck. How do I unstick them?

They're the vertically moving rope kind. Pull the rope down, they draw up. Pull the rope to the side, they lower. Or they're supposed to. The rope is fully extended and I have no idea how to unstick my blinds.

Halp ATOT!

Where the rope goes in, look to see if the little brass gear type roller is stuck or something...The thing that the string grabs when you want them to stop descending.

Stop jerking off so much.

Use the nob thing to change how the slats are angled. They string seems less prone to stick when they're flat.

Pull the string like you normally would to let them go back down, and with it still there to the side, pull down on the base of the blinds to get them started.
