My bios is super slow

I have a brand new P4P800 non -deluxe mobo and the biod is suuuuuper slow. Everytime I change a setting it has to refresh the whole page and it takes ages to get to 250+mhz on the FSB. What could cause this, I have never experienced something like this. It also came outta a CyberPowerPC so it should be tested and such.

Does your operating system run fine? Can you try flashing the BIOS (with either same or a newer version)?

do you have the bios cached or is it running off of the rom?

How do you have your HARD DRIVE(s) configured?

What type of drives are they (mfg, size)

Yeah, my OS runs fine and I dual primed it over night. Also my temps are good and Im running a single 80gig WD SEdrive. I have flashed to the newest bios version using ASUS update. Im just stumped
