Well it took me a day to get it all together because i was adding some components.

Before1

before2

After1

After2

After3

Temps have dropped but it might be from a combo of the two new 120mm silent led fans, extreme spirit 2 copper northbridge hsf, and accelero2. I know the airflow is better with the cables in a better place though.

Whoa, that's a great job buck. I love how you use the custom sata/power cables. Btw, what is the cpu cooler you're using? it's massive 0.o

Its an asus silent square. It was in a deal with a cpu/mobo/cpu hsf from frys. It works pretty darn well.
Thanks for the compliments :).

You should be proud of that cabling job!! Very Nice!!

Also your Heatsink is very descent. Albeit there are a few other I would have chose.
Still to be fair I have not read even one bad review on that particluar cooler!!

Again sweet wiring job!!

Funny story behind that, my camera was at work, so i got my gf's camera to do a step by step. Her camera was full (i am kind of unfamiliar with hers), so in a hurry i tried to delete a few pics, but instead started to format the mem card. I quickly took out the battery thinking that my get data back program would help when i got my box up and running, but it didnt. I saw the humor in it, she did not... :D

Thanks! :)

That HSF was more than free with that deal from frys, and after reading decent reviews, i decided to save some cash and stick with it. Its VERY quiet, and keeps the cpu pretty darn cool while overclocking.

Very impressive. The after pictures are amazing. It looks like you put a lot of thought and effort into the project. Congratulations.

I have to get some pics of my rig up one of these days........

Yep i sure did, the only things i would like to change right now is a different HSF to improve airflow (its a great HSF, just takes up alot of space) and a different PS with detachable cables. Its rediculous how i had to hide all my excess power cords.

Nice work- looks much, much better now!

How do you like the TT NB cooler? Do you have any way of measuring NB temps to assess its efficacy vs. the old heatsink?

Ya, i kept track of the temps beforehand, the main reason that i switched it out was that the asus chipset cooler wasnt working right, it was catching the fan and making a very loud noise sporadically. I dont think that my cooler was working right, the temps were very high. Idle they were in the low 50s (yes i was overclocking), and low 60s full load. Now with the extreme spirit2, its 35-40 idle and with load.

ya it looks sexy. I want to clean up my case, but to do that I would need a new psu.

Pic of my mess...

Is that a p160? How do you like that case? I like that case much more than my lanboy, I am thinking of getting one actually, not sure yet though.
Some things i would suggest:
SATA cables like this
Cable sleeving kit
Zip ties (small ones)
zip tie mounts

Its a nice case, but sometimes it wont turn on and it pisses me off. But I believe its my power supply, it is like 5 years old. Thanks for the tips on cleaning it up.
