My bank canned my VISA !

Would you rather have your number "compromised" and available to further charges, or a number that isn't under the suspicion of being stolen?
 
The problem is that it's a credit/check card:

1) I will not have a replacement card for 5 - 10 days
2) I have to call a few companies and give them a new CC# for the "auto debit"
3) I felt like venting
