Are you complaining about a pulled muscle or something worse? A pulled muscle is annoying but will heal in a few days. Now disk problems....

Exactly:( It hurts way too much

Then get it checked out. I have three messed up disks. I spent last Christmas drugged out of my head. ;) Then I was barely able to walk, and only with a cane, for two weeks.

Mine got so bad because I ignored the signs for months. My back was aching and popping for two months before I finally simply could not get out of bed one morning.
This scares me.. :(

I'm going to have some pretty hefty back problems when I get older I'm sure, and my back is already popping and creaking and aching all the time... :(

I don't have insurance to go and have it looked at, though.

If your back is popping all the time, that's due to disk pressure changes. Some popping is normal (air and blood changes) but a lot of popping and aching is often a sign that the disk has too much pressure on it, is aggravating, or is not getting enough blood. If you slouch all the time, you're slowly damaging your disks - especially in the lower back. I ignored my parents and everyone else that yelled at me for slouching. I just turned 26 and I can no longer sit in a chair longer than an hour without being very uncomfortable... and it looks to be this way for the rest of my life. Take care of your back. Really. Sit correctly, move around a lot, and give it rest when it starts hurting.

I now spend most of my work time lying on the floor on my stomach working on my laptop.

My back problems aren't that bad, but I totally agree about the slouching/posture bit. I thought my parents were just nagging when they tried to get me to sit up straight, etc.

Also if you sit at your computer for a long time, you should try standing up every 30 minutes or so.

My neck has been killing me for two weeks. Oh well. I feel too bad about those kids in Somalia that don't have food, to actually have it checked.

As well you should. I was shot in the shoulder by an sniper at the Farmers Market about a week ago. You dont see me bitching about it and going to the doctor now do you? Of course not, because I have "perspective"....

If I knew you were this retarded, I would have aimed for your head.

I slept on the floor last night...10pm...til now

Now while I don;t feel perfect ( very stiff and a little sore) the knife in my back seems to have fallen out :)
