So you want a tivo for free in FL. Go to Circuit City and buy a Philips 14hour model for $299. You get a $100 rebate from CC and $100 rebate from TiVo, but before you do that. Go back to CC for the deal of the Century on TiVo with... Go to BrandsMart website and get a copy of page 4 of their ad and take it in for 110% of the difference back with CC low price guarantee. Now you have just made a nice profit and all you need to do is sign up for TiVo service for 2 months at $9.95 a month. If you don't like your TiVo you can take it apart and use the 15GB Quantum hard drive on your computer. There you go, beat that one. (thanks for the gal "TiVodiva" who listed this on the TiVo forum).

Richie..I entered one day and got the email the next night. You may be too late for the easy giveaway. So, I would put some thought into it since you are technically only allowed one entry. I cracked up at the picture that guy entered on that avs forum . Looks like Bandito's avatar. I wonder if that is him...hee hee

All you people that have no intentions of keeping the TiVo are getting a Bad Rap here. TiVo as a company is great! They've supported the hack and every offered advice. The TiVo hacking community is a very ethical group. Its a wonderful product. So those of you that don't have intentions of keeping it or giving it away to someone deserving should really try out the product and understand the TiVo community.

End soapbox.
