First Impressions...

-Awesome Box
-This thing is HEAVY/BIG
-I can see the machining on the copper bottom, (hell, i can even feel it... Looks like circular grooves), but im not into lapping so i wont worry about that for now...


I'll post my results in a few, gonna install it right now... :)

Yea its packaged really well and it is heavy, I didnt get my 80CFM delta to test it yet :( grrr I will have to check with my sponsor again

Well using the 36 cfm Sunon fan, im getting the same temps as earlier... 54C (CPU) and 34C (Case)

Overall, im very pleased with it... I can HEAR AGAIN!!! :)

does it work better than an alpha pal8045? cuz im debating whether to go with the ax7 or the pal8045. its a good things its QUIET!

An Alpha wont fit on my mobo, so i wouldnt be able to tell ya... sorry :(

oh, thats okay. i guess im leaning towards the ax7, cuz someone reocmended me it. and since it wont fit ur mobo, i have doubts it will fit mine..heh

I prefer any heatsink that mounts to the mobo instead of the clips, and would recommend the Alpha PAL8045 over the AX-7 whenever the mobo will support it. The PAL8045 should fit the k7s5a you had listed in your sig, though I'm not 100% sure.

Thermalright is not stupid... they wouldn't design a hsf that doesn't click on right to ur socket and have it fall off. They would be getting so many complaints and lose their reputations.

Anyway, I love my AX7 too. It's quiet and cools well, I'm getting temps around 30 C with a YSTECH, 37 cfm fan... dude this fan is quiet, only 30 dbA. :)
