sounds like you were allergic to that cream you were first scripted...then it turned into a secondary infection?

Yeah, I saw the leg thread... That's some serious state to be in.

Allergies to the cream? Maybe, I haven't seen it this way yet.

As for a part-time friend, I already have full-time one, and sometimes, it's enough. :D

Dude, that's poison ivy, or sumac, or oak ...

They just call it contact dermititis because there's no way to know exactly which caused it.

Do your body a favor and stay off the alcohol and smoke if you do. Drink lots of water and try to exercise and eat lots of veggies. If your body stays healthier, it will fight the infection faster.

I have that too - on my hands. When I get stressed it comes out, or if I wear nitrile gloves when working on the car. Never got infected, but it's extremely uncomfortable for a week or so..

Luckily, I'm not a drinker (well, it's very rare) nor a smoker. On the negative side, I'm the semi-lazy type and hate most of veggies. I'm more into fruits though. :D

Nitrile gloves, uh? That's what I use at work sometimes, I know some employees got a kind of skin reaction with those. Doesn't make much sense in my case, my hands are ok.

I think I was wrong. I have Dyshydrotic eczema - a VERY basic description is the sweat glands get clogged - hence the issue with the nitrile golves.

Sorry for the confusion - good luck with your issue!

Seems gone now. Wrist is back at normal proportions - swelling is gone. So is the redness. Only thing left is the dry flaky skin around the wrist, but it's "peeling" now, kinda like a sunburn. It hasn't itched at all today. :D I'll see the doc tomorrow morning in order to get my tube removed.
