My Antec case came with fans.....

Ok, my bro ordered two black antec cases from directron.com, and they both came with fans...but the thing is that he didn't order them to come with fans, so why did they come with fans?

i'm not complaining, but i'm just wondering. don't they lose money this way? does anyone have any similiar experiences?

Antec cases always come with some fans....I don't remember the exact amount, but it's at least 2 including PS fan...

2 years ago my Antec cases also came with case fans, they are still around so they must be making money.

I have 4 in it right now...will add the 5th when I get more than 1 HDD

I also wouldn't doubt that they aren't the most expensive fans and they are included when the figure a price.

I got 2 antec cases in a bit ago and neither of them came with extra fans, hmm.

Agree w/everyone! (For a change) I'm on my third Antec case. Yes, the higher-line cases come w/fans. Yes, they are cheapie sleeve bearing. YES! THE FANS DO LAST ALMOST FOREVER! The Antec-labeled fans are GTG. They work, period. They turn and in turn, that moves air. Um, isn't that what fans are supposed to do? No, they aren't as good as Delta Black Label fans. They aren't even 1/2 as noisy, either.

CPU fans aside, IMO people put way too much emphasis on case fans. Case fans are either 80, 92 or 120 mm sizes. They are supposed to move air. That makes noise. Oh well.

BTW, Antec makes the best cases for the money.

I've bought three or four Antec cases in the last year, several different models, and all came with fans. Pretty decent fans, too-quiet, thermal controlled, ball-bearing sleeves.

I bought a Dragon case, which is exactly the same as the Antec cases, comes from the same factory. But mine didnt come with any fan, sucks.

yea, 2 fans, usually has room for more (optional) fans...

I bought a KS282 last year (their 'value line'), didn't come with fans (except the one in the PS).
