My answer to spambot question was false! Why?

I'm trying to register at a website and my submission failed because my answer to the bot screening question was incorrect. It goes like this:

First four letters of WOLLEY (colour)?:
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.

My answer was WOLL. What's the correct answer? The site doesn't allow me to reset to a different question.

I've seen some weird spambot filter questions before. There's a billiards forum I occasionally frequent which makes users answer a random question about pool, but it's generally some bizarre piece of trivia regarding professional pool players' nicknames, so unless you're a hardcore pool fanatic, it's absolutely impossible to register on their forums. Great way to advance the billiards community there; insure that no novice players can possibly join unless they happen to know that Mike Sigel used to be called Captain Hook.

Ah, that's what google is for. I DJ on college radio and I don't often ask contest questions when I give away tickets because I know that practically any question I ask can be answered by someone shrewdly using internet search engines. I give them to, e.g. caller number four.

Dunno, when I see WOLLEY, I do not see a color, nor reference to a color. Dumbass question.

I saw it as YELLOW right off the bat. In fact I can't see how anyone wouldn't see WOLLEY (colour): end the first four letters; as anything otherwise.

To be honest, I"m not sure how it could be anything else. The hint says it's a colour; wolley isn't a colour, but an anagram of wolley (as these captcha-type things often do) is yellow, which is a colour, and the first four letters of yellow are YELL.
