I replaced the coil, pulley and clutch on the AC compressor of my truck. The night before I burnished the surfaces so the clutch stopped slipping. This afternoon I took a 5 minute drive and proceeded to burnish some more and then checked the clutch and pulley and they were too hot to touch. Is this normal? How is it with your worn clutch? Mine doesn't appear to be slipping anymore. I'm wondering if the new bearings would cause it to heat up.
