My 8rda+ doesn't recognize my new mobile 2400+

Just what the subject says. I boot it up and it's reading it as a 600mhz k7. What gives?? Bios is latest..

As far as I know, not many motherboards recognize the mobiles. Just adjust the FSB and multiplier to whatever you want. Doesn't matter what it 'says' it is, my 1800+ is running at 2.1 GHz and it is still recognized as a 1800+, even though it is running much faster than that.

My mobile 2400+ is just recognized as "Unknown CPU". Also, with the first boot when installing it it was at 100x6=600mhz. I can't think of any motherboards out there that will boot up a mobile chip at it's regular speed. Just adjust the FSB/multiplier/voltage in the bios accordingly.
