Not me. My performance is less with Extraction Point. I run my rig (see sig) 1680x1050 and it does that at 50fps.

Yeah, extraction point is actually more demanding than the original FEAR at the same settings. :(

This thread is funny because I installed Quake 2 again just to see what kind of insane framerates I would get with my new 7900 gs ko.


Timedemo at 1024x768 = 980 fps with sound

in game a timerefresh gets anywhere from 1000-6000 fps

Worst part about is I have become addicted to the game again, and surprised there is still quite an active online community where some servers are still so popular you cannot get in due to them being full.

MAN i am going to copy your review format and do a mini review on HTCP graphic card for fun. Its an x1650pro which is pretty crap for gaming but its passive cool.

I don't see that as a bad thing - Quake 2 is still a lot of fun to play, especially on modern hardware. :thumbsup:
