Thanks for the testing. You can see where nvidia spent their efforts in driver optimization. (And where they didn't).

I dont think they even had the chance to do any optimizations.
Extraction Point's benchmark is the same as Fear's so it shows the same scores. To get anything meaningful out of Extraction Point you need to use Fraps but I try to avoid using it whenever possible.Although, no FEAR: Extraction Point?
Yup - not possible on the 7900 GTX.No CSAA?

Nice, is it hard to make them? I'd like to do it also but I'm not a programmer. I've only done some basic programming. And guides to do it?
But isn't Extraction Point more graphically demanding? I thought you said that it is more graphic intensive and generally got lower frames than normal FEAR.Extraction Point's benchmark is the same as Fear's so it shows the same scores.
No and no programming is required BUT every game is different so it requires research how to expose their benchmarking facilities. Also some games have little quirks that require a little voodoo to work around in order to get predictable results.Nice, is it hard to make them?
Correct, the new maps in Extraction Point are much more demanding but the benchmark itself is exactly the same as the one from the original game so the results are identical. But isn't Extraction Point more graphically demanding? I'm not seeing that - benchmark runs are identical while actual gameplay is much harder on the GPU than the original Fear.Extraction Point's code was tweaked, giving it more FPS...at I get more with my 7900GT roughly 8-10fps more
Preach on brutha, preach on.lol Descent 3, Quake, Unreal. Keep up the good work man!
