My 7 year old car just turned 60k miles

I bought her brand new and as you can tell I barely drive her. Other than a power antenna that needs fixing, the moonroof that needs fixing (both which I can do), and a few scratches on the paint, she's in great condition.

Maybe I should get out and drive more. 🙂

jeez. I bought my 2000 toyota tundra in october 1999 and it alerady has almost 70,000 miles on it.

i never understood that, how does a 2-3 year old car have 70k miles on it? were are you people driving? do you go on cross country excursions every week?

My blazer has ~133k miles on it, and it shows...runs well (now) and the body's in good shape, but I've had fuel injectors put in and now I have to rebuild the front end before it'll track straight. Oh well. That'll get done before too long, and at least it still gets me from A to B.😀

Edit: that truck is 10 years old - 1993 Blazer S-10

Im suspecting he commutes a good ways to work. 39 months hes had it, thats and avg of ~450miles a week. So lets say he drives 35 miles to work(~20 minute drive). Thats 70 miles a day, 350 a week, just driving to work. 450 miles a week is easy to do if you dont work in the town you live in.

I've put 12,000 miles on my car in the last 8 months 🙁

As well as another 12,000 on a company car in the last year, and 9,000 on our other car in the last 6 months.

Uhg. That's a dickload of miles.

144K on my '96 Aerostar. Got it used w/16K on it in '97 and it's been the most trouble-free vehicle I've ever had.

150,586 miles on my 1990 chevy truck... had to put a rebuilt tranny in her at 141,000, but other than that and some minor other fixes we did on her she is an awesome truck...

184,000 miles on my mom's 1994 dodge intrepid... still runs like new and engine is clean as hell... amazing...

215,000 miles on my dad's 1988 buick park avenue... this one's is in the shop right now with a broken cv joint... other than that still purs like a nice car!
