I'm not sure what the heck I did, but when I woke up this morning, my elbow was burning. If I don't move it, I get a slow throbbing ache. If I move it, I get a sharp spike when fully extending it or retracting the forearm to the shoulder. 😕

:frown:

Setting it down on the desk results in annoying, nagging pain.

Anyone else ever wake up with random, unexplained, prolonged joint pain??

tendonitits?

I have avoided saying stop fapping intentionally, though I will not disparage those who choose this response.

 Masturbation is not the cause. That would be impossible.

Howard, why do you say you see surgery in my future? :Q 🙁

djheater, I'm googling for tendonitis. Do you have it?

Tendonitits - Tennis Elbow
Symptoms

Patients often complain of severe, burning pain on the outside part of the elbow. In most cases, the pain starts in a mild and slow fashion. It gradually worsens over weeks or months. The pain can be made worse by pressing on the outside part of the elbow or by gripping or lifting objects. Lifting even very light objects (such as a small book or a cup of coffee) can lead to significant discomfort. In more severe cases, pain can occur with simple motion of the elbow joint. Pain can radiate to the forearm.

Actually, I slept on a waterbed for the first time in god-knows-how-long last night. I usually sleep on a couch. Would that make a difference?

Uh...explain? Can't reach it? Can't find it? It fell off? 😕

If I told you, you'd just call BS since nobody on AT can possibly comprehend the idea being anything other than a lie. For all I care, believe that I don't have one. 😛

Yeah, that's pretty much what I've found. Causes include over use or old age. I don't use my elbow any more or less than anyone else, I guess, and I'm not old. 😕

I've gotten it a couple of times usually from having to sit at someone elses desk and their mouse isn't set up right... It usually goes away in a couple of days if I baby it.

We use our hands and arms a LOT so it's easy to maintain an injury if you're not careful.

Yeah you do, to bitch at people for the wrong forum, or anything else you can think of.

Actually, no they don't. They're heaven-sent in the cold winters here. I've slept on one for years and years and years until earlier this year, not including a 14-month break starting a few years ago. Anyway, the warmth works wonders for bad knees and hip.
