My 4200 x2 computer is stalling

I'd guess your problems are related to your overclock. Did you lower your hypertransport multipler/DRAM ratio?

First off...

we need all your specs.....cant really come to any worthwhile conclusion without knowning the...

1)mobo used
2)bios used
3)DDR ram used
4)DDR timings
5)power supply used
6)reported voltages

I dont like how my system feels if I use weak dram setting in the bios...do you have something like that enabled in the bios???

Weird, that pitstop thing was saying your cpu was clocked at 2300MHz the first time I checked it, now it's just at 2200 (stock). Have you downloaded AMD's X2 driver? I'm guessing you did a clean install of windows after you installed the cpu, right?

AMD Athlon X2 Driver ????? I just updated the BIOS on my MOBO and installed windows and my MOBO Drivers for the integraded devices Please Reply with a link to download the X2 Driver

I dont think it does much aside from enabling cool and quiet but I suppose you could try it:
X2 Driver for Windows XP (32bit)

One thing that might be helpful is if you could run CPUZ and take a screen shot so we could see exactly what your cpu is running at. (try doing this before you install the Driver, if you do)
