What would you fellas say is a safe max temp for this chip, I have done a search but did not find what I was looking for, also what are some of the clock speeds and temps that you guys are getting?

thanks

If I remember right, up to 60, with 55-60 being the hottest you want to get.

please correct me if I am wrong.

Pfft... my Venice has been running 60 C under normal gaming loads for nearly a year now. Gets up to 65 C with Prime 95 running. Am I concerned? Not in the least.

Contrary to what people like this ^ seem to think, mine creates no more heat than one that's running at the same speed and the same voltage but with a $50 heatsink that keeps it at 45 degrees. I'm using the retail heatsink/fan because I don't give two shyts about the temperature as long as it's stable.

My goal is to keep this thing below 40C...Unless I'm overclocking of course. Then I let it up to 45C...but no more!
