The temp is 40c, sp34.

Update: Swtiched mobos from an 875 Epox to an 865 MSI Neo2 PLS and was able to run it at 285 fsb @ 3420, temp is 45c, 456 4/5

Edit 2: GTA/Vice City was locking up so I upped voltage to 1.65v.

Edit 3: GTA too unstable - clocking back down to 280fsb 3360mhz, 1.55v

Almost none of the PC4000 will run 1:1 at 275. Any that pass are usually sold as PC4200, PC4300 or PC4400.

Felix, no offense to you, bub, but a 2400 is an AMD chip. What you have is a 2.4C.

Notice in the title where it says 2400C. Not to mention that any experienced hardware person would know off the bat that it's Intel because no Athlon hsa a clock speed of 2.4Ghz or has an overclock of 1Ghz! :)

None taken! :)

While I know AMD exists - its not in my universe - so I dont know about it those "pr" numbers! And no intent was made to mymic them. I just wanted to illustrate the numbers a little.

IN ADDITION - I just started using Sandra last night. I dont have it right in front of me but I could have sworn that it my o/c'd system was comparable to a PR4400 rating. :)

I was able to locate a 2.4c 3333, SL6Z3.
There are no Malaysia's around.

Some say the Most important spec is the M0 stepping.

Can anyone tell me why?

TIA
