If I wanted a drag car, an LS2 with bolt ons would be in my 240SX. I'd be in the 12's.

A 10 sec Civic would annihilate me...at the same time he is still in a civic.

Wife got a ride today. She really likes the car especially how practical some of the design cues are.

Yesterday went and got my haircut...pulling up to the front of it had the stylists waiting for clients checking out who was coming out...that was a bit of a surprise.

The M3 definitely attracts good and bad attention. Today some E46 535 driver kept passing in front of me almost cutting me off each time. I don't get this bull***t. I was doing like 80ish in the lane next to the HOV along with the rest of traffic. He'd pass into the HOV lane, come in front of me then slow down....then merge to the right and disappear only to repeat it.

It ended when the next time he tried to do it, I just dropped to third and as traffic was coming to a major stop ahead watched him try to close the gap only to go skidding onto the shoulder as I sealed it. Asshat just exited at the next off ramp. I really don't get this kind of mentality.

A ton of my mod orders came today. Have someone coming to look at my 240SX on Sunday.
 
You don't get it? Have you read some of my posts about that behavior? Classic alpha male posturing. That kind of behavior on the road is the same as two lizards doing pushups at each other.

Get used to it in that car. Anybody with a 5 or 7 series or more than 333 HP is going to see your 3 as target and be a douche.

People are their own worst enemy.
 
I've had my 135i for over 2 years and don't have people racing me at every light. I had a bro'ed out guy in a mustang try to race me once. He peeled out when the light turned green and I simply drove like normal. I don't understand people wanting to race each other on public streets. Its asinine. I bought my car because I enjoy the styling, torque, and quality not because of what others would think of me or for macho streetpeen.

You live in a great place then, and it must not be a big city. Come here and you'll have hoopties trying to "race" you and cutting you of cuz they mad and jelly, or people in faster or more expensive cars who know it and abuse the hell out of it to make sure you know it too.

The only way to avoid it is to not drive at all or to present such a threat of retaliation and destruction to them that they just outright stay away from you.

Same really, both in OC and now FL, people usually leave you alone. Every once in awhile maybe, but its usually someone in something just as fast that wants a light to light drag.

The pics will look exactly like the shots I posted. Part of the reason it took me so long to buy the car was due to not having much time during the day with work. I am preparing this week to be on vacation next. I am sure I will find some time to get some pictures after I have put on some of the parts I have purchased.

It's more fun seeing it in the driveway with a real plate on.

They don't have to be glamour shots, heck a cell phone pic would do.
 
Well I won't be transferring my plate until my 240SX sells. I have a 30 day plate right now on the car...not sure what plates have to do with anything though...
