hahahaha, at first I thought you wrote 15 YEAR old daughter. I was thinking "Wow, she is still copying what people say at 15years old? He has got bigger problems then her saying sh$T!" 😀

My son did that about the same time. Just don't pay attention to it, stop saying it yourself(the hardest part), and it will go away. Its pretty funny to hear though! hehe

That or hide under the nearest table when your kid starts saying it.
You may want to tell her to get back in her chair instead of sit well...

Derango

"My cousin says "F***" when he means to say truck. He's 4 now...but he didn't start talking for quite some time, so his speach pattern isn't as developed as it should be. "

I had a friend at work whos kid did the same thing. One day they were in Wal-Mart and Andy decided he really really wanted the truck. He wanted it so much that he started yelling " I wanta Truck, I wanta Truck" .

Of course with his speech habit that wasn't what it sounded like. He didn't get to go back to Wal-Mart for a long time.

sean, you might want to print this thread out later on and give it to her on her 16th birthday.. wouldn't be a riot!!

LMAO!!!

My in-laws use any excuse to try and get my 4 year old daughter to say fork... sounds like F**K she's a skillny little blondie and she's got a really highsqueaky voice. They think it's rediculous. It wasn't so funny to great-grandma at Easter though. 😛

<< We have a hard time getting my daughter to sit down when eating, whenever she gets up we tell her to SIT Well, now she is trys to copy everything people say, but when she says sit, is sounds clear as day like sh**. So now whenever we go out and she sees someone who was sitting down and then gets up she yell sh**, sh**, sh**. At the doctors office, Mc Donalds, anywhere. >>

Do you mind put this funny sh** on video cam and upload it and share it with us? 😀

<<And she also just noticed that her pointer finger is a perfect fit for her nose, so picture a 15 month old waddleing aroung whith her finger up her nose and saying Sh**>>

LMAO. Videotape her and send it to the Funniest People show

Yea...got to watch it. My friends kid had the same problem with the word "truck"...went on for a few months too...

My soon-to-be three year old son had a problem with the word "stick" last fall. He liked to help pick up the dead limbs in the yard. He would replace the "st" with "d", so imagine him in the yard saying "I have to go get my stick" or "This stick is heavy". There were many other statements he made where it was hard to keep from laughing. Thankfully there aren't that many sticks in public places.

As for your daughter, I don't know what to tell you. Try to say more than just "sit", that way if she tries to repeat what you say it doesn't sound so much like she is simply cussing. Otherwise, people may think you say "s*it" around her all the time.
