Actually it is a little deeper than that. She hates bullies and if she sees a smaller kid getting picked on she will mix it up with the offending party even if she has no idea who they are. I think she views the Arabs as picking on Israel. On the other end of the scale she has little tolerance for those she calls losers. She does not pick on them but her sense of disgust is thinly veiled.

No Quake III. She does love Half-Life.

kids at that age tend to be very concrete and to see the world in black and white terms, I think it's normal ! The ability to see all the shades of gray in any given situation is something that comes with age. The other thing to remember is that sometimes the answer is a simple one and that often the wisest course does indeed come from the mouths of babes.

Actually the word ?looser? is not a word I use. I have other more descriptive words. If you think I?m lying, check my other posts. You ask how can she tell? It takes her about half a second. She is right more often than not.
