mx700 acting up

Had the mx700 since it came out (october) so for about 6 months, gave me great serverive never lagged or had problems, but recently when i put hte mosue on the charger, it does not charge, the light blinks green, but it when i take it off it blinks red. i am plugged via usb and trided switing them around to otehr ports, has anyone else had this problem? also what does the light mean when its solid green on the charger?

This is exactly the reason why I'll never move to a cordless mouse.
 
You tried some different new NiMH AA batteries? I would charged some new NiMH batteries on a seperate AA charger then install them on the MX700 and see if it works ok,if so let them run down and see if they will charge from the MX700 charger.
