MX518 Replacement

The scroll wheel in my MX518 is dying a slow death and with black friday approaching I may be able to find a discounted replacement.

The problem is most mice I try seem like a straight downgrade and those MX518 that are still available are incredibly overpriced.

So has anyone any recommendation on what would be a suitable replacement?

I used to use a MX518 and have found the g400s to be a solid replacement.

Depending on the age Logitech has a 3 year warranty. It may still be covered.

Has the MX518 been sold in the last three years? Can't remember seeing that around for .. far more than that, at least. Great mouse, sure, but it was replaced by the G500, then the G500s, then the G502 (and then the G502 was RGB-ified). I loved the ergonomics of those mice, and haven't really found anything to fully replace that. As of now, I use a G602 wireless mouse, which is good enough for me. The sensor is pretty low-end (2500dpi), but it's plenty responsive, has 500mhz polling, and great battery life in power saver mode. More buttons than I have use for, but they're not in the way.

The new G403 (both wired and wireless versions) looks nice, though.

I could not find any proof of purchase but I suspect I've has this mouse well over 3 years

To the others in the thread who offered suggestions I have taken them onboard and hope to find a well priced back in the upcoming sales.
Thanks
