MX4000 vs FX5200

My girlfriend is currently using an FX5200, but I have an MX4000 sitting around, does anyone know which card is *better*. I know the FX5200 is going to have direct X 9.0 support, where at the MX4000 will not, correct?

I'm thinking about swapping cards with her since my server doesnt need the better card than her "gaming" box.

google "vga charts iii" click the toms hardware link and see.. although the 4000 may not be there cant remember actually =l worht a look tho

*edit not there sorry*

Gaming on "FX5200 vs MX4000?" That's like deciding which huevo you want to be kicked in first. 😛

That being said, the FX is better. Slightly. But since it can't really run DX9 games in DX9 at any appreciable speed, it's no skin either way.

The FX5200 is better, it is a piece of crap but at least it supports DX8 (Not even powerfull enouhg to run DX8 games at good framerates), MX4000 is DX7. Forget about DX9 with FX5200.
