MX300 & Linux...

I have a Diamond MX300 sound card (Aureal Vortex2 based) and have downloaded the SourceForge aureal drivers, but can't get them to install... I run make installed and get an error about au_audio.o, just before that it gives me a warning about send_mem being defined in au_audio.c, but not being used... Sorry that that's not alot of information, but that's about all I got... Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any info.

PS-
I DO have the kernel source in /usr/src/linux.
