he said it will work with usb but it doesnt seem to. He also said it would work with any logitech receiver? will it? He has yet to answer me and its been 2 weeks?

i'm curious to know the answer to this as well. I have the same mouse, but mine came with the cordless desktop wave package.

On the usb receiver there is a "connect" button and on the mouse there is also a "connect" button. So it might be possible to sync another mouse to the receiver, but I don't have any way of testing that theory.

My mx1100 came with a receiver that is specifically for it. I'm not sure if logitech sells replacements, but I doubt you can mix and match with any other logitech receiver.

lol,d o you really have no recourse? its usb, but only logitech usb. the way you talk about it makes me think u thought it would be like bluetooth, it isn't like that.

i hope u got it for almost nothing, cuz it is worth almost nothing without the reciever.

Its worth it to post neg heat at least =P.. I see receivers for 19$ and i have seen others that get it to work with other receivers. But I was just going to use it as usb mouse till i found cheap receiver that works.. But it doesnt do anything with usb (which is how i was planning on using it) . It was 20$ shipped not good price since i see them for 25 on ebay with receiver (at time i didnt see 25 shipped tho) and 12 new with no receiver. Maybe i buy another with receiver since the usb cable cost 14$ on ebay as well and it did come with that and a eneloop battery.

Oh well It might work with 2.4ghz receiver just have to find one thats cheaper than the mouse it self.

A $14 USB cable? And you got a mouse with no receiver. Do you like throwing money away?

I guess you like flaming with out even reading shit.. The guy lied to me. Told me the mouse will work with usb cable (that was included) and any usb receiver. It came with usb cable and no receiver. I will prob just buy a mouse/ receiver combo and then leave the mice and swap the receiver when needed. I feel like cursing at you but its ok you are dumb and cat read so...

Logitech mice, do not always work with receivers from other models made by them.
For ex: I have a MX-1000 and also an LX-7 mouse ... My LX-7 will not work with the MX-1000 receiver .. In your case you can get the proper receiver from Logitech for $10 + postage ... Link below:

Receiver for MX 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse

The part number on the bottom of the mouse is 810-000733
P/N 993-000143 USD 10.00

I have wireless Logitech G7, MX1000 and MX Revolution mice. All of them only work with their individual receiver.

You can find Logitech mice on sale all the time. I don't believe I've paid more than $40 for any of mine.
