I've got an old cordless elite mx duo, and I was wondering if my wireless keyboard would work with the base that comes with the mx1000. Does anybody know? I'd rather not replace the keyboard yet!

Nope, it won't. The MX1000 base only works with the MX1000 mouse. You should be able to use the keyboard from the MX Duo and the MX1000 and just use both receivers.
