I just got my MX1000 mouse and I love it. It plays very well in games. But in the windows desktop I have having a wierd problem. As I move my mouse curser the mouse curser will sometimes 'jump' to another location. For example, I would be moving my mouse cursor across a page and all of a sudden the curser goes to the top of the screen.

I have installed the setpoint drivers that came with the cd. How can I rectify this problem?

try uninstalling those drivers and download the latest ones......is it an optical mouse? Make sure that you are not using it on a highly reflective surface.

you obviously don't know much about the MX1000 LASER mouse....

it is optical and I believe only comes in two flavours.....laser optical or laser optical lol!!

The laser is supposed the be less susceptible to surface deformations and reflections!!

as for the first question......are you one of these people who lowers the sensitivity and then have to lift and scroll, lift and scroll to get the mouse across your screen.....rather than moving across the whole screen in the flick of a wrist?? Sometimes lifting the mouse throws my optical into a fit...
