MX1000 + Keyboard combo?

Anyone know an ETA on this, or if Logitech even plans on it? Because of the setup of the desk in my dorm room (very deep, and BOLTED to the wall) it's time to ditch the wires.

Im wondering if my MX Duo keyboard would connect up to a MX1000 base station. My MX700 seems to be dying.

Just bought the MX1000 mouse after haveing the mx duo for about 2 months hopeing the keyboard would hook up to the base station. but Mx Duo Keyboard will not hook up to the mx1000 base station but the mx700 will. The Mouse is Awesome tho. its lighter and feels alot nicer in your hand then the mx700. and of course it is way more precise! I love it.
