MX1000 Bluetooth mouse

My Dell D620 recognized my mouse the first time...I chose no passkey.. But alas the mouse still doesn't work. Nothing shows up on the Bluetooth devices page. I try to "search again" and still nothing. Anyone have any experience with this?
