MX1000 and WIRELESS network

was using my mouse and noticed and there were a few dead spots on my desk, where the cursor just stops even when i am moving the mouse.

so i played around with some stuff, and noticed that the problem was fixed when i unplugged the wireless usb adapter.

but what's weird is that it's working flawlessly with the wireless adapter now.

is there a possible interference between the two units? or did my mouse just randomly fail me once.
