for what its worth... i have the 510 and I really like the to two buttons on the side. You can click them to either go forward or backward in your browser...you can set them to do just about anything you want really. Well worth the money. My, am I getting lazy?

p.s. does well in games also. It is wide and makes for a big fit in the palm of your hand but you get accustomed to it rather easily.

I use one button to go back and the other to minimize windows.

If you are going from a non-MX series mouse to an MX series mouse, you will almost be scared at how precise these things are.

They are that good.

Also, for the MX series CORDLESS mice, you have the "Fast RF" technology which is just as fast as a corded mouse. (Reviews back me up on that statement, look them up if you don't believe me.)

I was so scared, I crapped my pants, when I when I went from a 5 year old ball mouse to a MX510. 😛

Even the "Fast RF" technology, which transfers at 125 samples/sec, isn't as good as PS/2 corded, which you can crank up to 200 samples/sec. Go with mx510.

go with mx700, it is the wireless version of the mx510. Just do not forget to put it back on the re-charging stand.

So the body shape of the two mice(510 and 700) is exactly the same? My SO wants wireless but likes the shape of the 510 better than the 1000 which I have.
