Hello guys,

Recently i purchased a new gaming mouse, Logitech Mx518. Once, while playing bad company 2 I noticed a sensitivity lose. It happens randomly. When i turn on my pc i get this issue after approximately 15 min of using the mouse. I connected it to my another pc and still have the same problem. I searched my problem on google and it appears to be cause of the Logitech Set Point drivers installed. But I did install any drivers, I just plugged my mouse into USB port and windows 7 determined it automatically. In the device manager it says that i have
HID-compliant mouse(not sure what does it mean). Is there anyway to fix the problem i have to get a new mouse?

Thanks,

SOL

Did you get any drivers with the mouse? Letting windows automatically download drivers doesn't mean you got the right ones.

I don't understand what the problem is exactly. Could you please explain it more thoroughly?

I got a disk with the Logitech Setpoint drivers which came in the box. But i did not install them. I just plugged it into usb port and windows installed drivers automatically.

@Athadeus The problem is that my mouse loses sensitivity which is very annoying sometimes.

@denis280 I do not think drivers will improve something. If mouse loses sensitivity randomly, drivers do not do much, plus from what i read on forums is that Logitech Setpoint drivers cause sensitivity lose as well as it is difficult to delete.
