there are some retailers offering much lower prices for pre-order (I think CUSA has an exclusivity deal for a few weeks or something). The lowest I've found on froogle is 115 + 6 shipping or so.

Logitech dosen't seem to sell any wireless keyboards seperately. I believe the same keyboard comes with the LX 700 set. What's nice about the MX 3100 set is that you get the MX 1000 laser mouse with a matching keyboard and a base station that will work with the MX 1000 (it needs a charger capable of recharging Li-Ion batteries). What I really wanted logitech to do was to release the Fast RF version of the DiNovo keyboard and media pad set with a silver matching MX 1000 and a base station to handle all three devices.

Interesting...

I really have no compelling reason to upgrade from my "old school" MX Duo though. Paid $72 for it in August 2003 and it's still going strong. :) I do at times wish that it had better range, but I've got more important things to upgrade...
