LOL, it is funny how the people here flip out when they find out a guy passed up sex for a lan party.

When youre actually getting some on a regular basis, it really really isnt that big of a deal. You can have sex anytime. You cant have a lan party anytime.

Hell, I would have done the same thing, considering that I've never even been to a lan party, and they sound fun as hell. Just aint any around here in NYC that I know of, and none of my friends play PC games, only consoles.

But yeah, for the record, I've passed on sex dozens of times just to play metroid prime or some other game. Totally worth it.

LAN parties suck. You go, play crappy games with people you don't like while falling asleep because somehow it became "cool" to stay up until 7am playing these stupid games and drinking soda (it's like beer for these people) and so you have to do it. That's just me though.

He didnt get dumped cause he went to a lan party.

He got dumped cause they were already on thin ice, and she doesnt understand that he's going there to hang out with his friends, not to just play video games. I'd do the same thing, and my ex would get all pissy, acting like she had to compete with video games. She was the one with the problem because EVERYTHING was a competition for her. I probably couldnt take a sh*t without her getting jealous at the toilet.

No, that's what is scary...she'd put out at the first sign of his desire, but he almost seems indifferent.

Forget for a second that he went to go play video games. She essentially dumped him because he wanted to spend a night with some friends.

If she's that jealous and controlling, he is better off without her.

Exactly. Heck, I set up a LAN party for my bf for a gift once, getting his friends to come from all over the state. And when he and the guys were going to play games, it was rare that I wasn't invited to come and hang out, even though I don't play.
