I'm not completely sure on how ebay works as I've never sold anything there. Does the seller have to pay ebay if the item doesn't sell? If the seller DOES NOT have to pay, then that guy is an idiot for bidding up an item at the risk of no one else bidding (and thus he gets to keep his own bike and give ebay a handout)

if no one else bids, the seller can retract his own bid at the last moment.

if no one else bids, the seller can retract his own bid at the last moment.
nope the seller would have to cancel the his other accounts bid. You cannot retract your bid if theres 12hr or lesss in the auction
