MW3: not excited

Me. Is it even a different game? I don't care for 2 either so...

My friend just bought MW2 though and is loving it...

I enjoyed MW2. I'm not much of an online gamer, but I played MW2 a fair amount (got to level 55-ish, never prestiged).

However, since MW2, Activision has gone down the shitter. They've become worse than EA, and I won't buy their products anymore. Luckily, they don't put out anything of quality, so that won't be a problem.
 
There's already an MW3 with posts that reflect your ideas - should probably keep all MW3 related posts in that thread.
 
Yeah I agree making new topics just to bash a game you don't like makes no sense. I am not a CoD fan personally, but the criticisms of the series are well noted ad nauseum by now. People will buy what they want anyway.

Popular =! quality though. Justin Bieber sells tons of records, McDonald's sells tons of burgers, hell Spam is hella popular in Hawaii for some damned reason. I'd rather talk about what I like than what I don't though.
 
Ya I'm pretty much over the whole Call of Duty crap. Now with the announcment of Elite I've never hated Activision as much as I do now. It's ridonkulous that they charge $60 for the game, $15 for new maps, and now $50 a year for Elite.

Edit: I might be a little off on the whole "Elite" crap but I'm not 100% sure.

If you buy elite, you get the map packs for free.

yah he's so "unexcited" about the game that he went out of his way to create a thread and discussion to let us know what he isn't interested in, when there is already an official mw3 thread with over 100 posts and a discussion is already going on, where he could have done that.

They are starting to feel more and more like the old add on packs then full blown new games. I'm not really seeing much new to justify the new game price on them anymore. Hard to say for sure until the game hits the streets though.

He thinks it's his job to patrol the console section and mock anyone who voices their displeasure with any game at all, especially popular ones. Read his post history. I think he thinks he's a mod in training.

Onto the game, no I'm not excited for reskinned crap on an old graphics engine in which you'll get gouged for near $100 after all the map packs and other BS they try and get you to buy. Sheep will be sheep though.
 
I wouldn't say not excited, more like not intrigued enough. Plus there's no way someone can buy both games and have enough time to play both their MP modes to excess. I prefer to just pick one and go hard at it. If its the wrong one, so be it. This time its BF3.

I agree that it should have gone in the original thread, but my post was in response to someone criticizing him for "hating" on CoD. I did not defend creating a new thread for it.

You don't seem to understand the topic of my post and you seem to be just as overly defensive as Pontifex when it comes to CoD.

Fanboys crying about haters, and haters crying about fanboys. Yawn.
