I do, but theres a big difference between Gannon and Marino. Gannon, was a 2nd or 3rd string QB most of his pro career.

that's not the point. The point is Marino was the MVP that year and was hyped to win the game and he didn't.

I know but MVPs dont go to whos the best player. They go to the guy, whos team would be no where without them. I dont think Gannon deserved the MVP though.

I don't see who deserved it more than he did. Most QB MVPs have great receivers to compliment them. And what about Warner? He was MVP one year and the next year the back QB was the only one to win any games. The Raiders DID need Gannon for most of the season because their entire offense is structured around him.

Gannon failing today was more about the Buc's D working than it was Gannon choking...They pulled off some great interceptions, on bullet passes that should have been completions. It wasn't that the raiders were bad, it was that Tampa was that good.
